Göltzschtalbridge

- the biggest brick stone bridge of the world.

It was built from 1846 till 1851, when the Saxon-Bavarian railroad line was established. Trains still operate on it today. The Göltzschtalbridge spans the the valley of the Göltzsch river between Mylau and Netzschkau and is a famous landmark of the Vogtland area. It was made out of more than 26 million brick stones.

In immediate vicinity exists the opportunity to fly with a hot-air balloon and admire the building from 150-m height. At good weather conditions, daily from 10 o'clock.
